Deluge

My life seems to be caught in a vortex
I am spinning out of control
Yet I can’t make it stop
My love my blessings all caught up in it
While I watch the tears fly away from my eyes

Divine intervention about now
Would be wonderful
A show of power and love
To make me understand the Almighty
While I drown in a deluge of rain
